Josje Koehof specialises in industries, not in areas of law. Her main areas of focus are emerging tech and entertainment, where she combines her background in intellectual property, data protection, international commercial contracting and online safety with practical, hands-on advice.
Josje provides a valuable international angle. She has gained experience in The Netherlands and Spain before moving to the United Kingdom. She therefore understands the legal and commercial challenges businesses face when operating across multiple jurisdictions. Her international perspective enables her to provide practical advice that bridges legal systems while remaining grounded in the commercial realities of the industry.
Unlike many external lawyers, Josje combines her fractional work at Deviant Legal with a C-suite in-house leadership role at a UK-based entertainment company, where she is responsible for the legal, people and risk functions.
